At last. A fashion post. Kinda.

Anyone else find it absolutely strange that Anna Wintour was seated next to Nicki Minaj at the Carolina Herrera Spring 2011 fashion show in NYC?  And that Anna always insists to wear her sunglasses at night ala Corey Hart?

Oh how I love summer fashion...

Usually I despise summer fashion. I don't like being hot and hate wearing shorts. I'm definitely one of those people that love winter...I really love coats and layering which plays a big role in winter fashion. I digress. I found a pair of shorts I'm in love with though this year. And a million other things I love as well. Here's my must have summer fashion list. In no particular order.

I give you...the J. Crew Trouser Short. My usual hatred for shorts in general quickly disappeared upon trying these lovies on. They elongate my (already long) legs and they aren't so short that I look like I've been shopping at The Baby Gap (right Trish?)

Target Pocket V-Neck in literally every. single. color. My best friend and I have to call or text each other before meeting up so we dont end up in the same shirt. We've worn the same color shirt too many times in the past.

So far this summer I've been rocking big curls, my hair is naturally wavy and curly with the help of fantastic products that I love almost as much as my husband, and this hippie side braid. It's easy and looks super cute.

What and What NOT to Wear.

Everyone is the same. You book a photography session and your first thought is then 'What am I {or we} going to wear!?' I came across a beautifully written and very informative blog post by Kamee June of Kamee June Photography. She is a west coast photographer whom I admire for her vision and raw talent. Her writing is so thoughtful and simple, yet makes you think about the deeper meaning of her words. Please take a minute to read what she writes regarding clothing and attitude during a shoot and leave her some supporting words. I agree completely with her style and instead of rewriting what would be a sad attempt in duplicating her words, check out her blog entry.

Yearning for Some New Fashion

Tonight the husband is gone and I am left alone with my glass of red wine, the fireplace and catching up with my old pal, DVR. Since my blog is titled Photo.FASHION.Food, thought it would be a nice idea to post a little about my love for all things fashion related. Shop Bop is having their annual mega sale and I have found many ideas to lust over.

I am obsessed with my amazing and uber handy Shoot Sac by the amazing Jessica Claire! It's an awesome camera bag that forms to your body so no matter if you're lying on the ground or running around taking pictures, it's' easy and handy to access your camera lenses. I love this thing so much but couldn't decide on any of the covers. Jessica recently came out with a batch of new ones and they are to die for! These are my top 3.
