Another Birthday!

Sunday, October 31st, was Osborne's 2nd birthday. We celebrated with long walks, playing ball in the backyard and a big special happy birthday "cake" puppy dog style!

He totally knew what he was doing and licked off all the "icing" first...

He got a new kong, two real, frozen bones, and his favorite so far, a strawberry shaped Orbee! He has the artichoke and eggplant version of this toy and he just loves them.

Now comes the part where I get all sappy and confess my adoration towards my pup. He's such a sweet, gentle baby. He takes treats out of your hand so gently and nibbles away at them. He is the best cuddler I could ever wish for. He places his head on my leg while I work and when I look down at him his tail starts to wag. He follows me everywhere I go. I couldn't love him more. I am so grateful to have our Ozzy that I don't know what I would do without him. The love of a dog is like none other...he is excited and happy to see me all the time. Even if I just run to the post office for 5 minutes, when I come home, he acts like he hasn't seen me in years and puts on his show for me.

Our boy with his favorite birthday gift, the strawberry Orbee.

Cheers,
Lynsey

Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday to Ozzy! He is seven one year old today!! We celebrated by treating him to fresh, smashed yams mixed in with the uber fab and delectable puppy food for breakfast, running around the park together and playing with his new toys, a long walk, and belly rub. We're ending the day with a peanut butter and cream cheese kong for him and a glass of wine for me by the fire place while his dad is cheering on the Blues' tonight.

It's good to be a dog in the 'T' household!

Oh and I almost forgot...Happy Halloween too!

Cheers!

Guest Blogger. Osborne.

Hi, internet, my name is Osborne Cash Tedesco, but you can call me Ozzy.

This is me...
My Mama asked me to post because she's been real busy with editing pictures, work and planning Dad's huge birthday party at our house this weekend (the party is based off the movie Old School...I'm playing Frank the Tank!)
And this is my best friend Norton. He's a frog and if you sqeeze his belly croaks

Let's start from the beginning though, shall we...

My birth dad was a german shepherd and my birth mom was a black lab. Everyone says I have the body of a german shepherd and the adorable face of a lab... I'd have to say I agree.

All of these pictures my parents found on the Gateway Pet Guardians website where they found and adopted me!

Taking a nap with one of the hottest pups in my foster home. I was sad to leave her. Daddy, don't you think I can have a little sister or brother puppy soon? Mama said she's down :)

There were lots of other pups in my foster home. 6 other puppies and dogs to be exact and 4 cats!

Here is one of my less flattering pictures but my Mama wanted me to use it so here it is. I know what you're thinking but back off...it's just puppy fat! When I was 4 months old, my Mama and Daddy took me to Annie's for frozen vanilla custard. It was wonderful!

Mama sure does take a lot of pictures of me

Here I was thinking "Crazy bia get this camera out of my face" but I kept it to myself.
Next time Mama asks me to post on her blog, I will tell you all about my wonderful girlfriend Lady. She lives next door and her sisters Mariah & Faith have made their blog appearance recently too.

Until then...Cheers!

Ozzy

(Disclaimer: my parents are not crazy dog freaks. I really can talk and type)

Secret Reveal.

I want to introduce you to the newest member of our family...Osborne Cash T., named after the "Prince of Darkness" and the "Man in Black". You can call him Ozzy for short.

Ozzy is a labrador & german sheppard mix and he's 12 weeks old. We adopted him from Gateway Pet Guardians, an amazing foster parent program. If you're thinking of adopting a pet, please keep this amazing organization in mind.

We're learning a lot about one another, such as:

- Once I get up at 5:30 am for a potty break, I'm up...and so is he!
- There is this really special place in the dining room he loves to go #1 on
- He is a cuddler and loves to be right in your arms...but isn't much of a kisser, which we're loving!
- He is very protective of his mom and dad- Tommy (who is so not a morning person) doesn't hate getting woken up to a puppy curling up in his lap
- I have a new subject for my photos...muah hahaha (that's an evil laugh...get it?)

Cheers to puppy love!

Lynsey
