I'm Auntie L and I am going to tell you a lot about your parents. Everyone is really excited to meet you...and little boy, let me tell you how spoiled with love you are going to be!
I'm going to start out with your Mama because I knew her first. I met your mom when we were in rival middle schools at the age of 11. Your mom was so teeny tiny and was a little firecracker! Fast forward to high school, I remember sitting in chemistry class and hearing your mom talk about how your dad was pursuing her and she was smitten with him.
They fell in love hard and fast over 8 years ago.

Your Uncle Tommy (who cannot wait to teach you important things like rock music {he was the one that taught your dad about it too!}, curse words, and how to rock a serious air guitar) told me that your Mom wears her pregnancy well. That she always beautiful and comfortable and uber happy. I agree with Uncle T.
I got to know your Dad more my freshman year of college and quickly fell inlove with his sense of humor, spirituality and commitment to his friends.
You will quickly learn that your Dad does not have many serious moments like this one...
But more often that not, you'll see him acting like this...
There you are. We are all so excited to meet you and hold you and love on your forever. And you're going to be really confused who is a real family member and just one of the many people who adore your parents (and request their names be prefaced with Aunt or Uncle)
I was there when your parents met, got married and your mom found out she was pregnant. I can honestly say that I have never seen your Mom happier and more excited for anything. She's in love.
Oh and your big brother, Dekoy. He's really excited to meet you too.
I hope you look like your Mama...
...And act like your Daddy :)
You'll see a lot of this. Your Dad is constantly making her laugh! He's definitely a clown...I hope you get a lot of that. I can see you telling jokes when you're barely old enough to talk. I am so happy I will get to see that.
Your great grandpa Oshall passed away a few weeks ago. He was so important to your parents. Your middle name is from him. This is his hemnal book which Dad brought along as a way to include this monumental figure in his life with your life. So sweet.
I hope we learn a lot from eachother. Go easy on your parents. They will love you with all their might and give you everything you've ever wanted. Be good to them too.
I love these two people as members of our family. They have been with Tom and I as long as there has ever been a 'Tom and I.' They are caring and loving and I am so thrilled I could share in this special moment and in these pictures that will forever be the last pictures taken before you, baby Lawdin, comes into our lives.
