Marathon (wo)Man.

That's right folks, my big, exciting news, is that I'm running a half marathon on April 19th!

I started prelim training tonight and after not running for 6 plus months, I was able to bust out 2.6 miles. I am thrilled. They were about 12 1/2 minute miles which is pretttty slow but I am alright with that for now. Of course, I'll be posting updates on my progress and training schedule. I am so excited and to make things even better, my best friends, Brad & Erica, are running with me! Well Brad will be way ahead of us but it will be amazing to cross the finish line with someone I've known for 18 years! Poor Tom is too busy with wrestling coaching to train for it but we will run the St. Charles marathon in October together. I am so excited and motivated right now. I love having a schedule to abide by.
