Emily & Tim.

I've known Emily and Tim for a very long time, but individually. I met Tim in middle school (go Gators!) and I met Emily our freshman year of high school. Tim is a genuine, sweet, do anything you ask of him kind of guy. Emily, scared the crap out of me at first. Then I got to know her and realized that she is an extremely dedicated friend, hilarious and the type of person that would do anything a friend asked of her. (I remember she yelled at our dance team captain because she was being a biotch to me...thanks again Emil)

Emily and Tim started dating after high school so until this session, I never really knew them together. They are better people together than I remember them being individually. So in love and sweet to one another. Tim is a marine and will be leaving to go overseas in May. I can't imagine the strength my friend has and I really, really, really admire her strength. When she contacted me for a session, I literally jumped out of my seat in excitement!

I had such a great time with both of them. They did everything I asked and didn't act like I was crazy to lie in the sidewalk outside of the Tivoli in Delmar with people walking over the top of me.

Funny story: (sorry Emil, I have to tell!)
Tim emailed a day after Emily and I set the date for this session to tell me that he wanted to propose to Emily during the pictures and wanted her family to be across the street watching. All without her knowing of course. Immediately, I panicked! I said yes, of course, but I panicked. How could I see such a good friend get proposed to and be expected to take pictures while simultaneously balling my eyes out. I knew for sure I would break before I got "the shot." Well the next morning, after Tim and I set things up, I get an email from Emily subject line reads: "I'm a terrible person"
Oh crap! She read the email and was honest enough to tell him about it. Honestly, I dont think I would have had the guts to tell and I would have just acted surprised but she knew she wanted more than that for her proposal and man did she get it. Tim proposed to her after our session and knocked her socks off...infront of her whole family :) The link to the story in her sister-in-law Joi's blog: Nuestra Vida Dulce: A Pregnancy And Engagement!

Doesn't she look stunning in this last one??Congrats on your engagement and your love. Tim - I'll see you soon at your welcome back rally!
Cheers,

LT
