Woman vs. Time

If only I could stop sleeping maybe I could cross things off my to do list instead of just adding more to it. Anyone have a cure? Don’t say to make lists, prioritize and stick to the schedule. Done, done and done. I am probably the most organized person most people would ever meet. I have a filing system and budget spreadsheets that would knock your socks off. The problem? I work 8 hours a day. I spend a total of 2 hours in my car commuting to and from work. I insist on having a sit down dinner with my husband 90% of weeknights. I feel like I check 2 things off and I add 5 more. That doesn’t make a girl feel productive. I am always tired, I under eat and over stress . Odd thing is I wouldn’t trade my world for someone else’s ever. I would, however, take a million dollar investment to my bank account. The profit margin on this particular investment is low. So low, it’s scientifically proven there’s a 0% rate of return.

I am looking to vent and to hear others vent so please, tell me your bitch story about you vs. 24 hour days.

Cheers,

LT

I don't think I'd ever choose to sleep less these days, but I agree...I wish I worked less to have more time for the giant 'to do' list! Still haven't figured out the secret but will let you know if I do:)

I am one of those people that needs at least 7 hours to function and 9 hour days so I have roughly 5 hours to 'myself' that I fill with homework, lesson plans and the regular everyday to-do's. I'm also a list-maker. If you ever want to vent I would know how you feel completely! <3 <3

My psychological advice is to SLOWWWWW DOWN!!! You have to make sacrifices & learn to say NO! You can't do everything, and I know you like to please people & be awesome, but you can't do it all & still feel rested...even though you'll still be awesome!
Love you!

I don't have any good advice for you. I too get bogged in with the some old day-in-day-out monotony of my schedule. Lately, I'm lucky if I get an hour to relax on a weeknight. I cannot give up sleep, that's for sure! I always take time on the weekend to have fun though. Maybe you should try it:)
