News. News. News.

So I decided to go ahead with my announcements this evening since I'm so excited about all the big changes in my life.

First and foremost, I quit my job. Yep. Bye, bye public accounting as of this Friday, I'm leaving and not looking back. I cannot believe I finally get to say this. I have felt a little unfulfilled lately and after a lot of long talks with my husband, I decided to leave my secure, desk job with benefits, a 401k and lots of overtime for a part time job much closer to my home and to take a full-fledged risk and try turning my photography hobby into a career. I know, right? I'm insane but I figure big risks=big rewards. There are so many things I want to learn and perfect and I will now have the time, energy and resources to do it. I couldn't be more excited, scared, enthusiastic and terrified all at the same time.

The other news: I began a new blog just for my photography business. I will still keep updating this blog on a more regular basis and it will be dedicated to photos of my personal life, music, fashion and food.

Also, my website will be launching next week. Finally!! I am putting the finishing touches on it this weekend and it should be ready to go by the end of next week. Of course, there will be another post to accounce that new baby in our lives.

Oh and speaking of new babies, my best friend is pregnant!! Totally a surprise to everyone and shocking but I don't know anyone more fit to be a mother than my lovely, gorgeous friend, Erica. I've known her since preschool and to watch her belly grow and see her bring a new life into the world brings tears to my eyes. Congrats to Erica and Brad and the little lady (I'm positive it's a girl!!) you're about to bring into our lives. Things will never be the same in the BEST possible way.
